Class: Introduction to Sock Knitting with Katy Diederichs (Sunday Sept 13, 27, Oct 18 4pm-6pm)

Welcome to Sock Knitting 101! In the three 2-hour classes, you will learn the basics of sock knitting, including casting on the cuff, knitting the leg and foot, turning the heel, and finishing the toe. Across the 3 classes, you will complete the first sock in a pair.
Learn from experienced knitter, designer, and instructor Katy Diederichs in an inclusive, supportive environment.

Inner Harbour Yarn (Unit 5, 14 Cataraqui St)

Skill level: Intermediate (participants should know how to knit and purl and be comfortable knitting in the round on their choice of DPNs or Magic Loop)

Materials:
This class is priced at 2 options: 

• Includes yarn only (participants must bring a pair of US1/2.25mm needles in their choice of DPNs or long circular)
• Includes yarn and needles (participants do not need to bring anything to class

Darning needles, scissors, and other materials will be available for use during class.
