Classes and workshops policies

We are excited to welcome you to a class or workshop at Inner Harbour Yarn! Please review the information below to ensure you get the most our of your experience! 

Preparation and materials: 

We want to best support you in learning new skills! Please review all class information and prep (emailed to you ahead of the first class session). Multi-session classes will have work to complete between sessions. You will get the most out of your class if you are able to complete all prep and between-session work!

Refunds:

Out of respect for our instructor's time and skills, we have limited ability to offer refunds. That being said, we understand that life happens! For cancellations more than 2 weeks ahead of the first class, we offer refunds minus an administrative fee. More details:

Code of conduct:

Inner Harbour Yarn is a positive, supportive environment. To this end, we ask all instructors, staff, and class participants to agree to the following code of conduct. 

Be kind - we do not tolerate hate speech, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour. Treat others with kindness and respect. 

Be constructive - come ready to learn something new. Understand that we are all at different skill levels. Support each other in learning about our craft. 

Support artists - purchase patterns, where required for the class, from the designer. Do not steal or copy others' work without permission. 

We are a queer-positive, anti-racist space and do our best to ensure participants of all walks of life are comfortable and supported in our classes. We regret that our current location is not wheelchair accessible - participants must climb approximately 10 steps to reach our unit.
