Class: Introduction to Colourwork Knitting with Deb Brochet White (Sat Sept 26 + Oct 10 12pm-3pm)
Learn the basics of knitting with multiple colours to create beautiful designs! This 2-part class covers choosing colours, knitting techniques, and expert tips. Throughout and between the 2 sessions, you will knit the Birsie Beanny pattern, a colourwork hat designed for the 2026 Shetland Wool Week by Helen Robertson.
Learn from experienced knitter and teacher Deb Brochet White in an inclusive, supportive environment.

Skill level: Intermediate (participants should be comfortable with basic knitting stitches and techniques)
Materials:
All yarn required for the Birsie Beanny is provided for this class.
Participants must bring the following: Printed copy of the Birsie Beanny pattern purchased from Shetland Wool Week, 2 pairs of knitting needles in the sizes outlined on page 3 of the pattern.
