Baa Ram Ewe Linseed

Linseed is a luxury plant based blend made up of 60% linen, sourced from France and Belgium, and 40% cotton slub, sourced from Spain. When twisted together, these fibres make a strong and durable yarn perfect for knitting. It creates a light and drapey fabric with a rustic appearance. Due to the nature of this natural slub yarn, gauge may vary. 

This yarn is listed as a laceweight yarn from the manufacturer, but based on our swatching we feel it is somewhere between a lace and light fingering weight (hence listing it as "heavy lace"). Since it is a "thick and thin" type yarn, we recommend swatching for your specific project. It knits up very nicely held double if you'd like to use it in a fingering weight pattern.
